Earth Day – Climate Change Presentation

“The climate crisis is real but is understandable when explained. We need to understand what is going on, and what the ramifications are of not addressing it, and begin thinking about how we are going to address it in ways that overcome historical inequalities.”

Professor Emeritus of Sociology

Kim Scipes, Ph.D., has recently retired from Purdue University Northwest, where he taught since 2004. He has published four books and over 265 articles in the US and in 11 different countries. He has taught courses on “Environment and Social Justice” since 2006.
