PNW Disability Access Center Director Debra Wysong accepts an award at at the City of Hammond Mayor's Commission on Disabilities 36th Annual Awards Breakfast

Congratulations to Debra Wysong, director of the PNW Disability Access Center, who was honored for her work and advocacy for the disability community at the City of Hammond Mayor’s Commission on Disabilities 36th Annual Awards Breakfast on Thursday, March 22.

Debra won the individual award for her many contributions to the improvement of disability access at Purdue Northwest, which has made PNW the university of choice in the region for college ready individuals with disabilities who wish to obtain a college degree. Approximately 400 college students with disabilities per year receive services and support through the Disability Access Center.
