Introduction

Duaa is currently a third-year doctoral student working toward earning her Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology at Midwestern University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Psychology minor at Valparaiso University, where she did research in Neurobiology. Currently, Duaa’s areas of interest include 1st generation college students and access to mental healthcare, and the intersectionality of one’s different identities impacting stress, mood, anxiety, and depression.

Duaa, being raised in NWI, is passionate about providing resources to her community that she believes people deserve access to. Duaa approaches therapy and conceptualization from a Cognitive Behavioral and Holistic perspective, while also taking into account other theories and models to provide the most efficient and supportive environment for her clients. Her therapeutic style is kind, compassionate, understanding, and collaborative.
