Introduction
Holly earned her MSc. in Psychological Therapies from Queen Mary University in London, and she is currently pursuing her PsyD. in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. She previously received her B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in African American Studies, from Colgate University.
Holly approaches therapy with curiosity and compassion, tending to each client’s unique perspective through active listening and collaborative engagement. Holly focuses on building trust and creating a safe space where people feel comfortable and understood. Her work is informed by cultural humility and an understanding that intersecting identities, social experiences and cultural factors collectively shape how individuals experience the world.
She has experience working with a variety of populations and concerns, including depression, anxiety, learning disabilities, Autism, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and those healing from trauma. Holly primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); however, she is passionate about tailoring her intervention approach to meet the individual goals of her clients.
As a doctoral student, Holly is also engaged in research on complex trauma and mental health outcomes among elite athletes, with a focus on advancing the well-being of collegiate athletes and informing coaching practices that prioritize mental health.
