Sara Asato, M.A., M.S.

Introduction

Sara earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University and is currently a third-year student working toward her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. She completed her B.A. in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago, her B.S. in Medical Science from Dominican University, and her M.S. in Biophysics and Physiology from Georgetown University. She has previous clinical experience working with clients across the lifespan who present with a wide range of concerns and come from diverse backgrounds.

Sara’s primary clinical interests include identity development, meaning-making, and navigating life transitions. She approaches therapy from an Adlerian and humanistic perspective, emphasizing collaboration, curiosity and meeting clients where they are. She integrates techniques from evidence-based approaches to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Outside of the therapy room, Sara enjoys going to the movies, crafting, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
