Wits Workout: Apple A Day

In September’s session, “Apple a Day,” most of the activities are related to the apple in one way or another. The training component covers diet at it relates to brain health.

 Research shows that intellectual challenge and social connectedness are two factors that can contribute to brain health throughout the life span. Developed by the University of Illinois Extension, each session of Wits Workout embraces a unique theme to facilitate discussion on an important topic related to brain health – exercise, diet, sleep, short- and long-term memory, and many more!
