Join the Honors College for a 5k Community Walk!
The primary purpose for this walk sponsored by the Purdue Northwest Honors College is to raise funds to build support for Tradewinds of Northwest Indiana.
By joining us, you’re not just walking — you’re making a meaningful impact and helping ensure no one in our community is left behind. We are grateful for your commitment and look forward to walking together for a cause that truly makes a difference.
Students, faculty/staff, community members and friends are invited to register your support and contributions beginning August 1, 2026.
About TradeWinds Services of Northwest Indiana
TradeWinds Services of Northwest Indiana is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals of varying abilities to live to their fullest potential.
Serving children, adults and seniors, TradeWinds provides programs including early childhood education, speech and occupational therapy, employment and vocational training, residential services, adult day programs, respite care, Deaf services and community support programs that promote independence, inclusion and quality of life.

Reminder for Honors Students: This is a mandatory philanthropy event for all Honors College students. Every student is required to register and participate in the walk.
This does not count toward one of your required two events for the semester. This philanthropy is its own separate requirement.
