Tree Hike with Lenny Farlee

Join Lenny Farlee on a summer tree identification hike!
Lenny has a master’s degree in forest management from Purdue University and is the extension forester for the Hardwood Tree Improvement and Regeneration Center at Purdue University. Lenny will point out key identifying features for a variety of tree species.
We will mostly be looking at the leaves, fruit, nuts, flowers of these trees. Expect to leave with a better understanding of key identifying characteristics of native trees species.
Please dress for the weather and bring water and bug spray if needed.
Meet in the first parking lot.
Program participation is free but non-members are subject to the $10 per carload admission fee.
