Presented by Dr. Lauren Broyles of Grant Writers’ Seminars and Workshops, LLC
November 2 and 3
8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. each day

Registration is required by Monday, October 12.

Register

There is no cost to participants for this workshop; however, the Office of Research will be paying the cost of the workbook so they expect those registering to attend, with breaks in participation for class or other unmovable commitments, as necessary.

About The Workshop

PNW is pleased to present this highly acclaimed grant writing program. This virtual workshop will address both practical and conceptual aspects important to the proposal writing process. It is designed for faculty, research scientists and administrators who have had some exposure to writing grant applications. Emphasis is given to idea development, identification of the most appropriate granting agency, how to write for reviewers and tips and strategies that are of proven value in presenting an applicant’s case to reviewers.

The workshop provides intensive grant writing training interspersed with specific details by agency. Participants will also choose one of four workbooks which provide agency specific grant writing tips and suggestions. The choices include: National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, or “Any Other Agency”, which covers agencies other than those listed. The cost of each book is $75, which will be covered by the participant’s college.
