First-Gen Pride Grants Now Open – Apply by April 17

Dear PNW Faculty and Staff,
We are pleased to announce the continuation of an institutional grant opportunity designed to enhance the success of first-generation college students at Purdue University Northwest. First Generation College Student Success Center, in partnership with Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA), invites faculty and staff to develop and implement innovative, collaborative strategies that support first-generation student success. Supporting these students is a shared responsibility, and these grants are designed to encourage meaningful cross-campus partnerships that lead to creative solutions.
Grant awards ranging from $500 to $3,000 are available for funding. Projects may begin as early as May 15, 2026, and must conclude by December 31, 2026. Full-time faculty and staff with instructional roles are eligible to apply. Previous recipients are eligible to apply as well.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. (CT) on Friday, April 17, 2025.
