Fund Once-in-a-Lifetime Learning Opportunities
Your gift can help PNW students experience international, state and local policymaking firsthand. Meg Rincker, Ph.D., Professor of Political Science, helps PNW students take part in once-in-a-lifetime experiential learning opportunities like American Model United Nations.
These experiences have inspired students to seek careers in law, public service and business. For many participants, it is their first opportunity to travel outside their neighborhoods.
Give Today to Support Student Learning
It costs $900 for a single student to attend, and up to 16 students participate in these activities annually. Your generosity helps defray students’ costs for conference registration, transportation, accommodations and group study meals during multi-day working simulations.
What Can You Make Possible?
Your gift of any size will help a student at PNW expand their world by experiencing one or both opportunities. Please make a gift today.
Bringing the World to Chicago
PNW students will participate in the American Model United Nations International conference in Chicago from Nov. 22 to 25, 2025. Participants will conduct debates and write and attempt to pass original resolutions.
Understanding Government
PNW students will participate in Model Illinois Government in March 2026 in Springfield, Illinois, debating bills before the General Assembly. Students specialize in researching, presenting and debating legislation.
