Graduate Profile: Toriana Mabon

Toriana Mabon of Merrillville, IN recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue Northwest.

“I chose Nursing as my major because I’ve been a Certified Nursing Assistant since I was 16, which helped me realize that I want to do more,” said Mabon, whose career goal is to become a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of a Level 1 Trauma Center.

She stated, “My tip for freshmen is to stay on top of your work, especially if you are applying to the Nursing program. Your grades matter, so it is best to start off well and end well! You have a long successful road ahead of you!”
