New Ariba Purchasing Experience Coming in December

Good morning Ariba users,

We’re excited to share that the Purdue Procurement Department, including West Lafayette and both regional campuses, is undertaking a joint project to improve the Ariba buying experience. An updated Ariba program called Guided Buying will be rolled out in December. More information will be shared through email, Business@Purdue and Purdue Today at later dates as testing continues, but for now, here’s what you can expect:

  • A new and simplified user interface
  • A more intuitive Ariba purchasing experience with enhanced product and supplier search features
  • Product recommendations
  • An easier way to reorder products

Training opportunities will be offered later this year. Stay tuned for additional details and training dates and please make sure to watch for email from both Purdue West Lafayette Procurement and PNW Procurement in the upcoming weeks concerning this important project.
