Parking Updates: Fall 2024
As a reminder, students may not use “Preferred Parking” spaces to park their vehicles. Only those PNW faculty and staff members who have paid for “Preferred Parking” and have a current gold hanging tag may park in these spaces.
If the sign stipulates “ Preferred Permit Parking 8 to 4:30 p.m.” students may park in these spaces after 4:30 p.m.
Students can park in any space not restricted by “preferred parking” or any other restriction. In addition, you may park in our parking garage at any time.
Annual Reminder – PNW Parking Fees
All PNW benefit-eligible employees who utilize parking facilities are requested to complete a Parking Permit Application Form.
Parking fees are assessed from August to May each year and processed through a payroll deduction (unless a waiver is requested and approved). Please be reminded that even if you only occasionally park your car at PNW, you must complete a parking permit application form.
Parking Fees are as follows:
- Basic Parking: $150
- Preferred Parking*: $180
- Reserved Parking: $450
Parking fees are not assessed for temporary staff, midnight staff, limited term lecturers, Gabis Arboretum employees or employees with an accessibility placard (parking in an accessible authorized space) if parking in basic parking areas.
If you never park a vehicle on campus grounds and are requesting a parking waiver, please complete the Parking Waiver Request Form. Submit or send this by mail to the PNW Police Department by September 13.
* If you select preferred parking you must have a hanging tag to park at PNW campuses. Please stop by Facilities and Maintenance at either campus and pick up a new gold parking tag.
If you already submitted a parking form in the past and do not wish to change your parking preference, you do not have to submit a new parking form. If you already have a gold preferred parking hanging tag, you do not have to get a new one until 2026.
