Colin Fewer

Introduction

Colin Fewer joined the English faculty at PNW in 2000. His main research interest is medieval English literature, in particular the period known as the “long fifteenth century.” He has published articles on medieval authors Geoffrey Chaucer and John Lydgate, among others. He has taught over 25 unique courses at PNW, including Linguistics, History of the English Language, special topics courses in Horror and Love and Desire, and many other literature courses. In 2009, Professor Fewer was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year. From 2019 to 2025, he served in an administrative role as Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. Professor Fewer holds a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from The Pennsylvania State University (2001).
