Introduction

Melissa will support faculty in creating accessible instructional materials through trainings and individual consultations to help ensure equitable access for students.

Previous Roles

Melissa worked in disability centers at Northeastern Illinois University and DePaul University and developed an understanding on the barriers students face when accessing course materials.

Melissa was also a student therapist at the Claret Center in Chicago.

Fun Fact

In her time as a student therapist, Melissa completed the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 Training and expanded her knowledge on evidence-based communication tools.

Outside of her work, Melissa also enjoys spending time in nature to help her reset and reconnect!
