Shazi Shakil
Lecturer of Biology

Introduction
Professor Shakil is a student-centered lecturer teaching BIOL 221 lecture and lab, and BIOL 102 and SCI 114 labs, with a focus on engaging, supportive and applied learning experiences.
Research Overview
Professor Shakil uses structure-based virtual screening and molecular docking to identify promising compounds that may serve as leads for future anti-infective drugs.
I love poetry and enjoy exploring the creative side of life beyond science, especially the ways language, imagination and scientific curiosity can inspire one another.
