Sophia Sakoutis is a visiting assistant professor of sociology. She will be teaching Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, and Sociology of the Family.

Research Overview

Research interests have included issues arising in the processing of law, for example the shift from indeterminate to determinate sentencing, complainants navigating domestic battery court, and the styles of judging in domestic battery court.
