Reminders from Office for Civil Rights

Dear PNW Campus Community,
At the onset of the 2025 fall semester, the Office for Civil Rights would like to remind all employees and students of the university’s policies regarding discrimination and harassment. To view these policies and related procedures, click here.
In addition to enforcing these university policies, the Office for Civil Rights manages the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Interactive Process for employees and disability-related accommodations for campus events. To request an accommodation, please contact Tim Griffin, Associate Director, Office for Civil Rights, and ADA Coordinator at (219) 989-2163 or email civilrights@pnw.edu.
For questions regarding Title IX matters, please contact Laura Odom, Executive Director, Office for Civil Rights, and PNW Title IX Coordinator at odoml@pnw.edu, (219) 989-3169, or (219) 785-5545. Furthermore, please feel free to email questions to civilrights@pnw.edu, view the Office for Civil Rights’ website at www.pnw.edu/office-civil-rights, or call (219) 989-2337, to make an appointment.
Wishing you a positive and safe environment that encourages everyone to strive to reach their own potential. As we continue to power onward at PNW, the Office for Civil Rights is here to provide support and care to the campus community. We are happy to help!
Best regards,
Laura Odom | Executive Director, Office for Civil Rights
