Purdue University Northwest to commemorate Juneteenth with a Celebration of Freedom
Purdue University Northwest will celebrate Juneteenth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 in Founders Plaza at the Hammond campus. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Fitness and Recreation Center.

PNW Presents Virtual Discussion with Award-Winning Author Anthony Ray Hinton
Anthony Ray Hinton, author of “The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row,” will deliver a virtual talk at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22. The event is part of the One Book, One Community program of reading, reflection and discussion. The public is invited to register and attend.
