Update and Timeline for PNW College of Business Teddy Jacobi Dean Search

PNW Bell Tower

Dear Colleagues:

I am writing with an update regarding the national search and timeline for the next Teddy Jacobi Dean of the College of Business at Purdue University Northwest. As mentioned in my email dated October 3, 2025, as part of the process, we brought together an excellent group of faculty and staff to serve on the search committee, chaired by College of Engineering and Sciences Dean José Sánchez.

The search committee members are listed at the end of this message; we greatly appreciate their service. This important advisory committee is playing a critical role in helping us identify the next COB leader. We have also been partnering with Academic Search on this search.

The application deadline for full consideration was October 20, 2025.  We were delighted to receive a robust pool of 75 applicants. The search committee conducted virtual interviews with ten semi-finalists earlier this month; from those, the committee recommended the three finalists who are being invited for campus interviews.

These interviews will take place during the first two weeks of December. There will be opportunities for members across the college and university to meet the candidates, including during an open forum, and provide feedback and input. More details will be forthcoming.

Ideally, the new Dean will be named by early January and start sometime during the Spring 2026 semester.

If you have questions about this search, please do not hesitate to contact Dean Sánchez.

Sincerely,

Marie Mora
