AI² Tiger Team

Authentic Intelligence × Artificial Intelligence

The AI² Tiger Team’s goal is to ensure every PNW student graduates ready to understand, manage, deploy and use AI responsibly while building the critical-thinking skills no technology can replace. This work spans governance, curriculum, training, research and employer partnerships.

Your University. Your Future.

The AI² Tiger Team is working every day to make sure you are ready for what comes next.

Amplifying Human Capabilities

The name AI² reflects the core belief guiding this initiative: artificial intelligence should amplify human capability, not replace it.

Critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, empathy and the humanities remain the foundation of a Purdue Northwest education, with AI serving as a tool to support those strengths.

Our Goals

1. Build AI literacy and readiness across every college and program.

2. Keep PNW students aligned with success in a rapidly changing landscape.

3. Ensure student voices directly shape how AI is taught and used.

4. Prepare graduates to enter the workforce with a competitive edge.

The AI² Tiger Team was formed in December 2025, shortly after Purdue University announced its AI working competency, a first-of-its-kind graduation requirement for all undergraduates across the Purdue system.

Purdue Northwest formed a dedicated, campus-wide team to bring that commitment to life in a way that reflects our own students and mission, addressing the opportunities and challenges AI presents in higher education and identifying the best approaches to ensure PNW students are prepared to understand, manage, deploy and use AI responsibly.
