Building Temperatures

Good morning,

As you are well aware, we are having unseasonably warm temperatures for February with below freezing temperatures mixed in. Until we move beyond the freezing temperatures the chilled water system for cooling cannot be filled.

Our only cooling is outside air, so as temperatures rise, we lose our ability to cool most spaces. Please be patient as we do our best to manage indoor temperatures today and tomorrow.

We target April 1 for the cooling system startup but we will be monitoring temperatures in March and will bring it online earlier if low temperatures allow.

Please report any extreme temperatures to Facilities through the work order system on the Facilities website or call 2285 at Hammond or 5347 at Westville.
