TOPIC: Create AI-Enhanced Assignments

In this presentation, Dr. Mark Mabrito, AI Faculty Fellow, will present two custom AI tools he created that assist instructors in creating AI-enhanced assignments and in considering degrees of “cognitive offloading” for these assignments.

Custom AI Tools:

• AI-enhanced assignment helper: Upload your AI-enhanced assignment for feedback. Post an idea for an AI-enhanced assignment for suggestions and feedback.   

• Cognitive Offloading in AI-Enhanced Teaching: Helps you to consider how to leverage cognitive offloading to AI in the context of a classroom assignment/task. 

“Integrating AI Into Your Teaching” is a series of interactive virtual sessions designed to introduce faculty to innovative AI tools and applications that can enhance teaching and research practices. Led by AI Faculty Fellow Dr. Mark Mabrito, Professor of English. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies in a supportive, collaborative environment.
