TOPIC: Assess and Provide Feedback to AI-Enhanced Assignments

In this presentation, Dr. Mark Mabrito, AI Faculty Fellow, will present three custom AI tools created to assist instructors in creating rubrics for assignments that leverage AI, teach students the ethics of using AI in research writing, and one that helps develop strategies for providing WISE feedback to students.

Custom AI Tools:

  • AI Rubric Generator: Create a custom rubric for an AI-enhanced assignment 
  • Ethical AI Research Assistant: Provide feedback to students on ethically using AI for writing research papers. 
  • WISE Feedback Coach: Helps educators craft specific and encouraging WISE feedback.  

“Integrating AI Into Your Teaching” is a series of interactive virtual sessions designed to introduce faculty to innovative AI tools and applications that can enhance teaching and research practices. Led by AI Faculty Fellow Dr. Mark Mabrito, Professor of English. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies in a supportive, collaborative environment.
