Midwest SoTL Conference Proposal Due Date

February 1, 2023

You are invited to submit a proposal for the 2023 Midwest SoTL Conference, which will be held in person at Indiana University South Bend on March 31, 2023. The conference theme is Refocusing Our Attention and our keynote speaker will be James M. Lange, author of Distracted: Why Students Can’t Focus and What You Can Do About It and Small Teaching: Everyday Lessons from the Science of Learning.

The conference is accepting proposals that describe empirical studies of SoTL, theoretical discussions of SoTL, descriptions of best practice of teaching, and interactive workshops on implementing best practice.  Proposals are due by 4:00 pm (CST) on Wednesday, February 1, 2022. (There will be a later call for 5-minute Quick Hits and Twitter conference presentations.) See flyer or the conference website for details.  

PNW faculty who are accepted to present at the conference will have their conference registration and travel expenses paid by the Center for Faculty Excellence.
