Small changes can lead to meaningful improvements in teaching and learning. The Change One Thing certificate program invites faculty and instructors to explore practical, research-based strategies for enhancing their courses through small, manageable adjustments.

To earn the certificate, participants will:

  • Participate in at least three sparkshops, workshops (e.g., Integrating AI Into Your Teaching sessions) or other learning opportunities offered by the Center for Faculty Excellence.
  • Implement a small but impactful change in one of their courses.
  • Submit a brief reflection on the change and its anticipated or observed impact.

This program provides a flexible, low-stakes way to refine your teaching practices, experiment with new ideas, and join a community committed to continuous improvement. Small steps can lead to big results—start with just one!
