Active Shooter Training: Nils K. Nelson Bioscience Innovation Building

The Purdue University Northwest Police Department and Hammond Police Department will be holding Law Enforcement Response to Active Shooter Training in the Nils Nelson building. We respectfully request that you do not use the building during this date and time.

If you have an assigned office in this building, you may of course use it. However; we would ask that you avoid the hallways and front lobby stairs as much as possible. We will be only training in the hallways, and some classrooms on the first and second floors.

We have performed this training in the past at both the Hammond and Westville campuses several times with positive results.
