The Nuts and Bolts of Innovation: Leadership Lessons from the Foundry Floor
Most executives agree that innovation is one of the top drivers for growth in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing environment. However, studies show that many leaders would like to see their organizations being more innovative, agile, and open to new possibilities. Why is there a disconnect? Where does one begin? How do we define what it is we hope to do? What is the difference between routine operations, complex operations, and innovative operations?
In this month’s Lunch and Lead, Hiler Industries’ Earl Miller joins the Leadership Institute at PNW to discuss how leaders might understand some differences between operations with different levels of uncertainty, and some frameworks to enable innovation in their teams.
