The General Education Task Force is hosting two town halls focusing on general education. Join us for our first event with Jose Moreno, Ph.D. on Friday, Sept. 18 as he discusses general education and its significance to inclusion, equity and social justice.

Moreno is an Associate Professor of Latino Education and Policy Studies and past Chair of the Chicano and Latino Studies Department at California State University, Long Beach. A graduate of UC Irvine and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Moreno is a widely published author in the field of educational access, equity and evaluation including an edited volume titled The Elusive Quest for Quality: 150 Years of Chicano/a Education published by the Harvard Education Review Publishing Group.
