Friendly Reminder: Volunteer Screenings

We would like to take this opportunity to remind Faculty and Staff about the Volunteer Policy and required background screenings.

Key points to keep in mind regarding volunteers:

• PNW is committed to providing a safe environment for work, study, and outreach activities.
• All volunteers will be subject to a background screening, which includes, at minimum, a Sex and Violent Offender Registry Check.
• Faculty, Staff and Volunteers must comply with the expectations and responsibilities outlined in the Volunteer (VI.B.2) policy.
• Supplemental information and helpful FAQ’s are available in the Administrative Manual on University Volunteers.
• Student Organizations that invite Volunteers to campus will require a Volunteer Agreement.  For assistance with questions specific to Student Organizations, please contact studentlife@pnw.edu for assistance.
