Introduction
Andrew is an assistant professor within the Integrative Human Health program, with a background as an athletic trainer and certified strength & conditioning specialist. His primary teaching interests are motor development and learning, biomechanics and injury management and rehabilitation.
Research Overview
Andrew’s research focuses on the application of movement screening tools for sport performance and injury risk reduction. Specifically, he researches the connection between golfers’ physical limitations and their golf swing biomechanics with a goal to provide individualized programs to improve performance. He also examines factors that can influence clinicians’ use of movement evaluations, such as sport-related fatigue.
