Claudia Lorena Jaramillo-Barbosa, M.A.

Continuing Lecturer

Claudia Lorea Jaramillo Barbosa

Introduction

I am a continuing lecturer of Spanish. I teach beginning through advanced Spanish, including grammar, composition, conversation and culture, to traditional and heritage-language students.

Teaching Focus

My teaching focuses on helping students build confidence and proficiency in Spanish through grammar, composition, conversation and cultural understanding. I work with both traditional language learners and Spanish heritage speakers, while also supporting beginning English learners through ESOL instruction.

Fun Fact

I enjoy spending my free time traveling, learning about different cultures and trying new cuisines. I also LOVE reading graphic novels, so don’t be surprised if I have a recommendation or two!
