Matthew Hanson, Executive Director for Graduate and External Programs and Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at Purdue University Northwest, is a leader in digital marketing education and is committed to preparing students with practical, hands-on experience.

Known for his problem-solving focus, Matt empowers students to think critically and adapt to industry demands, equipping them with skills in digital marketing, campaign management, strategic planning and entrepreneurship.

I like a good challenge which is why I ran the Chicago marathon one time on a dare without training!

Additional Information

With over 25 years of industry expertise, Matt founded the Digital Marketing Competition (DMC), an initiative that lets students act as marketing agencies to develop campaigns for real clients. This competition is internationally recognized with partnerships from companies like Facebook and Google and has established Purdue Northwest as a hub for experiential marketing education.
