Introduction

Patty is proud to be a “lifer” at Purdue Northwest, having started as a student, then becoming an instructor and eventually finding her passion in advising. She began advising in 2001 in a traditional setting and transitioned to online advising in the College of Nursing in 2010.

She enjoys the challenge of finding new and innovative ways to connect with students through technology. Her advising approach is rooted in empathy, encouragement and real-life understanding.

Having balanced college, family and work herself, she strives to meet students where they are, listen with intention and support them as they grow and push beyond their comfort zones.
