New Printer Procurement Process
There is now a new process to request and purchase printers at PNW. This process will allow for more self-service, with the requestor working directly with the vendor to assess the situation, and provide a quote for the new device.

For your awareness, Purdue IT will transition from Google to Microsoft 365 through a tenant migration during spring 2026, with the goal of improving user experience and service integration.

R: Drive Retirement: Timeline Reminder
Starting March 22, the R:\ drive (departmental storage) will be set to read-only. This means that you will no longer be able to add or modify any files on this drive but can still access the files stored there.

Windows 10 End of Life – Windows 11 Upgrade Timeline
Microsoft has announced the "End Of Life" for Windows 10, with the official end date set for October 2025. In preparation for this transition, we must upgrade all existing Windows 10 systems to Windows 11.

R: Drive Retirement – Timeline Update
The R:\ drive will be transitioned into a read-only mode starting March 22, 2025. This is a preparatory step before the drive is fully retired during the summer of 2025.
