Seed Funding for Research Initiation Program – Application Deadline

The Seed Funding for Research Initiation Program is intended to provide seed funding to enable new and/or exploratory research projects that are innovative, involve compelling intellectual questions or ideas, and potentially lead to novel contributions.
Application deadline is Monday, October 6, 2025.
Additional Information
- All full-time faculty may apply. If the grant is awarded to a team, the lead applicant (PI) is responsible for submitting the final report, as well as managing the budget.
- The project period is from October 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026.
- Funds may be used for release, summer salary, student salaries, consultants, travel, supplies and equipment. Funds cannot be used to support unrelated activities or purchase items normally unallowable under Purdue procurement policies.
- Project narrative may not exceed 3 pages. References are excluded from the total page count.
