Student Stock Market & Cryptocurrency Investment Group
The Student Stock Market & Cryptocurrency Investment Group (or Student Investment Group, SIG) is an active group of students from Purdue University Northwest that analyzes, interprets, and invests in the United States stock markets (NYSE and NASDAQ) and digital cryptocurrencies. Other markets that are interpreted by the SIG are the options relative to the US stock markets, futures, and the foreign exchange market. While this student organization is focused on the topic of finance and investing, students from all majors and fields of study are encouraged to join.
You do not have to be a Business major or Computer Science major to have a thorough understanding of the stock market & cryptocurrency markets and their inner workings. With that being said, you must be a student (enrolled in at least one class) at Purdue University Northwest to be eligible for acceptance.
Goals:
- Learn about investing in stocks & cryptocurrency, available brokerages, and the intricate nature of traded securities.
