Introduction

Kayla Seymour serves as the College of Business Senator, where she is dedicated to advocating for student success and wellbeing across campus. In addition to her role in student government, Kayla works for the Office of Student Life and TRIO Upward Bound, and she serves on the executive boards for both Student Life and the Multicultural Club.

As senator, her top initiative is to establish individual tutoring opportunities within each academic college, ensuring students can access one-on-one academic support tailored to their specific needs. She believes personalized tutoring is essential for helping students thrive academically and reach their full potential.

Beyond academics, Kayla is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and support throughout the school year. She strives to help create a campus environment where students feel empowered, supported and connected.
