Dear PNW Faculty and Staff,

At Purdue University Northwest, serving our region is central to who we are. Through education, research, community engagement and strong local partnerships, our faculty and staff make a meaningful difference every day.

I am pleased to invite you to participate in PNW’s 2026 United Way Workplace Campaign. Our partnership with United Way Northwest Indiana reflects a shared commitment to bringing people and organizations together to address our region’s most pressing needs.

United Way works alongside nonprofits, businesses, schools, government agencies and volunteers to connect individuals and families with essential resources. Recent storms demonstrated the strength of this collaborative network as United Way mobilized volunteers, convened community partners, distributed emergency resources and supported communities through response and recovery. That same spirit of partnership continues throughout the year through initiatives focused on youth opportunity, financial security, healthy communities and community resiliency.

Every contribution matters. Whether you give once, choose payroll deduction or become involved through volunteerism, your participation strengthens the collective work happening across Northwest Indiana.

Our campaign will run from September 21 through October 9. I encourage you to learn more, attend an upcoming United Way presentation and consider making a gift that is meaningful to you. To contribute to the United Way Campaign, simply fill out the United Way pledge form and return it to Human Resources at hr@pnw.edu.

Together, PNW and United Way can connect more people, strengthen local partnerships and create lasting impact throughout our region. Thank you for all you do for our students, our university and our communities.

Sincerely,
