Why did you choose PNW?
“I chose PNW because of its strong commitment to student-centered education and its emphasis on applied learning and industrial engagement in construction management. The university’s close connections to the regional construction industry and to serve a diverse student population strongly align with my goal of preparing future construction professionals for success in a dynamic, technology-driven industry.”
What are you most excited about in your first year?
“Educating the younger generation and doing research with students. I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and pushing the boundaries of human knowledge together with my students.”
What is the best piece of advice you would like to give to PNW students?
“Don’t be afraid to knock on your professors’ doors. We are here because we genuinely want to support you, guide you, and hear your ideas!”
How do you spend your free time?
“I enjoy going to the gym, and one of my favorite activities is indoor rock climbing. I wouldn’t call myself a great climber, but I enjoy the challenge. It’s both physically engaging and mentally stimulating, as it requires problem-solving and perseverance.”
Why did you get into your field of study?
“Construction science is positioned at the intersection of engineering, science and management. It blends the technical foundations of engineering with the strategic principles of management, allowing us to solve complex, real-world problems in the built environment.”
