Admissions

You are eligible to participate with or without prior cybersecurity knowledge.

IT Knowledge and Career assessments are required for ALL participants, regardless of prior course work.

You may still be qualified.

This program is open to transitioning military and veteran status.


Program Cost

Certification exam is optional. The CWCT program will support one certification.

This grant will cover the cost of classes, course material and one certification exam voucher.

Certification Exams Disclaimer:

  1. The certification exam voucher will cover certificate test fee cost only, proctoring or other fees will be the responsibility of the participants.
  2. Upon request, participants will receive a certification exam voucher only after successfully completing the training course with a passing grade.

No penalty if you do not pass the certification exam, but no re-test will be provided with support by the CWCT program

Trainees are required to participate in follow-up surveys.


Course Materials

In general, no course materials need to be purchased. Electronic course materials are provided. However, if a physical textbook is preferred, the cost would need to be covered by the trainee.

  • Required: Windows 10 with 4GB memory minimal
  • Recommend: Windows 10 with 16 GB or higher, i7 or higher.

You can borrow a laptop from your local library.


Training Format and Attendance

You can take a minimum of one course and a maximum of two courses per session if you want to complete a training path (4-6 courses) within one year.

The courses are offered with virtual live lectures at a scheduled time. Attendance is strongly recommended but not mandated. The lecture will be recorded for later review.

Transfer Credits

Please check your institution for credit transferability.

We will not evaluate any course for transfer purposes; we will accept non-expired certifications that are defined in our certification-course equivalence mapping.
