How do I use my meal plan?

  • Plan holders can redeem up to three meal swipes per day; dining dollars do not have a daily limit.
  • Weekly meal swipes reset after Saturday dinner; unused meal swipes do not carry over week to week.
  • Dining dollars are available to use before the start of classes to accommodate early move-in of international students, athletes and all housing students.
  • Meals per week begin the Sunday of the first week of the semester.
  • Meals per week end with the end of classes.
  • Dining dollars are available for use during final exam week.
  • Dining dollars part of a meals-per-week package roll over from fall to spring but expire at the end of the spring semester.

How are meal plans charged?

  • Meal plans are billed by semester and are aligned with the academic calendar.
  • Once the meal plan purchase period closes, dining dollars can only be purchased through the “Atrium Connect” platform and will not be reflected on the student account or added as part of a payment plan.
  • Selected meal plan may not be reduced, downgraded or otherwise decreased after the initial selection period.
  • Students may increase plans until the end of the first week of classes.
  • Dining dollars can be added at any time during the semester.
  • Additional dining dollars added to meals per week packages roll over continuously through graduation of the student. The system automatically uses any dining dollars associated with the meals per week packages first, before using the additional dining dollars that have been voluntarily added to the account. Dining dollars are non-refundable.
