Afro-Latino Founding of the American Colonies

This event explores the Afro-Latinx founding of the American Colonies specifically, looking at the Florida region of the US. In addition, a discussion will follow on contemporary Afro-Latinx issues and visibility.
The event will be led by:
- Kenny Kincaid, Associate Professor of History
- Wendy St. Jean, Associate Professor of History
- Crystal Galván, Coordinator, McNair Achievement Program
Tacos and lemonade will be offered as refreshment!
