Diversity Matters

FreeThe Career Center is hosting our first Diversity Matters Networking Event. We hope that you will join us!
This event will connect students and their allies from underrepresented groups and diverse backgrounds with employers who express strong interest in hiring diverse talent. Additionally, students would learn how to both advocate for themselves within the workplace and considering identity when job searching.

- Great giveaways such as t-shirts, stickers and buttons for those that attend our employer panel
- Opportunity to network with over 20 area employers who have committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce
- Powerhouse employer panel that will help answer tough questions you might be wondering about such as coming out in the workplace, disclosing a disability in the interview process and much more!
- Learn why diversity makes a positive impact on companies and how the PNW Career Center is working to help you identify employers committed to a diverse, inclusive and equitable work environment.
