Fall Innovation Series Session 5: Design Thinking Deep Dive Part II

A series of virtual workshops to encourage a culture innovation and increase your problem-solving capabilities.
The Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest presents a new professional development program for innovators.
This series of virtual workshops is for both entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs. Whether you are growing your own company or you have been tasked to innovate within an existing organization, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills are essential for every stage of business.
People who attend all six sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion and innovation resource guide covering each topic from the series.
Each 60-minute session will be led by the Society of Innovators team and is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. CST.

Design Thinking Deep Dive Part II
In part two of our Design Thinking Deep Dive, you will learn how to start applying the Design Thinking process. Participants will learn how to start building and testing actual solutions to the challenges they identified in our first deep dive.
Overall, participants in both Design Thinking Deep Dive sessions will learn how the stages of Design Thinking are different modes which contribute to the entire innovation project, rather than sequential steps. Our goal is to help you gain an understanding of your users and what their ideal solution/product would be.
