Giving Subjectivity a Visual Form with Maria Tomasula

Join CHESS for the first event in this year’s Distinguished Speaker Series! Maria Tomasula will be speaking on October 17 at 2 p.m. in CLO 340.

Maria Tomasula (East Chicago, Ind.) is an active part of the Chicago art scene. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and then continued her education at Northwestern University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Fine Arts. She is currently a professor of Art at the University of Notre Dame.

Her paintings are in several museums, and her work has been showcased in several art galleries and exhibitions throughout the United States.
