Lunch and Lead: The Paradox of Leadership

September 20, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

A paradox is formed by contradictory yet interrelated elements that consistently coexist. A classic example in organizations involves leaders. They must allow their teams to have autonomy, yet they must also monitor their employees.

Today, leaders are asked to lead in a world that is unlike anything anyone has ever experienced. To truly differentiate yourself as a leader, learning how to comfortably inhabit both elements of the paradoxes faced will be critical to your success.

Hosted by the Society of Innovators and the Leadership Institute, this month’s Lunch and Lead will feature speaker Jon Gilmore. Jon Gilmore, CEO and President of Tonn and Blank Construction, will share about different paradoxes leaders face and how his team has successfully navigated them.
