Joe Wetchler Couple and Family Therapy Fund

Support Student Success

Joseph L. Wetchler, Ph.D., oversaw the creation of the Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) Master’s Program at Purdue University Northwest. His foundation of academic excellence inspired graduates who continue to contribute to CFT clinical practice, training, research and education, both here in Northwest Indiana and around the world.

Please consider honoring Joe with a donation to the Joe Wetchler Endowed Student Success Fund. Joe appreciates any contribution, as he remains deeply committed to the success of the program and its students.

About Your Contribution

Your contribution will be commingled with the funds of other donors as we work to fully fund an endowment to support the Couple and Family Therapy program at Purdue Northwest.

An endowment requires a minimum of $25,000.00 in contributions within five years. Once the minimum is reached, the revenue will be used to support the Joe Wetchler Endowed Student Success Fund to provide unrestricted support for the program and its students. If this minimum is not reached within five years, then the amount in the fund will be spent outright until exhausted and the endowment fund will terminate. Additionally, if less than $10,000 is pledged or received within 6 months of the endowment’s establishment, all funds and future funds will be distributed to support the Couple and Family Therapy program until exhausted, and the endowment will not come to fruition.
