Hammond Café Closed June 29 to July 2 for Technology Transition

Dear PNW Campus Community,
As we prepare for the launch of PNW Dining Services as a fully self-operated unit, the Hammond café will be closed Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 to accommodate our technology transition from our previous third-party provider to our new internal systems.
This transition includes cutting over our internet connections and point-of-sale devices, which will temporarily halt our ability to process transactions. The Hammond café will reopen for normal service on Monday, July 6, following the holiday weekend.
Please note that catering services will continue as usual, and all scheduled events will be fully supported throughout the temporary cafe closure.
Over the coming weeks you may also notice some minor updates within the Hammond café, including fresh paint and new signage as we rebrand and rename our stations to reflect PNW Dining Services. We will work to minimize the disruption to the cafe and appreciate your patience in advance. These are minimal cosmetic changes, and the space will remain familiar. Our focus and investment are not on the physical space but on enhancing the overall experience for our students and PNW community.
Thank you for your support as we aim to enhance on campus dining at Purdue Northwest.
